Back in my university days, selling handmade jewelry at night markets in Shanghai and Hangzhou was where I felt most alive. I dreamed of opening a shop on Etsy to share my creations with the world, but life had other plans. Without the funds for materials or the tools to build a global store, I put my dream in a box and stepped into the corporate world for ten years.

Now, at 34, after a sudden layoff and a decade of waiting, the world has changed. With the help of new technology and my modest savings, I’ve finally opened the doors I couldn’t reach a decade ago. This shop is my "year of courage"—a leap of faith to see if my passion can truly sustain my life.

The Mystery of "Rola Land"

While my hands were away from jewelry making for a decade, my soul was traveling through the invisible landscapes of healing. I sought answers in the stars and in the cards, finally finding my anchor in the profound wisdom of Buddhism. It was through this spiritual awakening that the obstacles in my life began to dissolve, leading me to a moment of profound revelation.

The name Rola Land came to me in a way I never expected. During a past-life regression session, I saw myself in another time—living in the Netherlands. When asked for my name, the words "Will Rolland" surfaced effortlessly from my subconscious. That moment stayed with me, echoing across time.

Today, I’ve adopted "Rola" as my creative identity in this life, and "Land" represents this shop as my sanctuary—a territory of healing, creativity, and rebirth. This isn't just a website; it’s a space where my past and present converge. Rola Land is where my history and my future embrace—a place where every crystal and every bead serves as a bridge between who we were and who we are meant to become.
